Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff. 2. Establishes and maintains advanced knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues. 3. Designs and manages studies as requested for analyzing business opportunities and areas for improvement. 4. Undertakes complex assignments requiring additional specialized technical knowledge. 5. Creates statistical models to predict, classify, quantify, and/or forecast business metrics. 6. Designs modeling studies to address specific business issues determined by consultation with business partners. 7. Prepares analytical data sets in support of modeling studies. 8. Communicates effectively with all levels in the organization including executives. 9. Develops very complex and varied strategic report applications from a Data Warehouse. 10. Establishes and communicates common goal and direction for team. 11. Monitors project schedules and costs for own and other projects. 12. Develops and supports very complex Data Warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables. 13. Understands complex problems quickly, proposes solutions, and provides clear direction. 13. Develops very complex and varied strategic report applications and analyses from a Data Warehouse. 14. Establishes and communicates common goals and direction for team. 15. Must be able to recognize when a strategic change in process is required and direct resources effectively and efficiently to achieve the desired business results. 16. Monitors project schedules and costs for own and other projects. 17. Develops and supports very complex Data Warehouse-related applications and analyses for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables. 18. Assures quality and integrity of data collected, analysis performed, and reports generated. 19. Develops methods for improving internal techniques and processes. 20. Utilizes multiple data systems to accomplish objectives. *BUSINESS INFO DEVELOPER CONSULTANT SR* * Requires a BS/BA degree. * 6 years experience. * Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. * Expert level PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required. * Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels within the organization. * Working knowledge of Health Insurance Exchanges, CMS and risk adjustment preferred. * Working experience with SAS and equivalent analytical tools preferred. * Working experience with Teradata/Hadoop preferred. * SQL required. * Excel required. * Access preferred. * Equivalent data management and analysis tools required. * Understanding of multiple data sources and formats required. * Excellent knowledge and understanding of data warehouse structures, data flows and standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required. * Excellent leadership, problem solving, organizational, planning, presentation and interpersonal skills. * This job is focused on spending time thinking about programming and how it would be used to design solutions as compared to the Bus Info Developer Consultant job. *BUSINESS INFO DEVELOPER DIRECTOR* * Requires a BS/BA degree in a related field (Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science). * 8-10 years of professional experience in a payer operations and data analysis environment. * Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. * Working knowledge of Health Insurance Exchanges, CMS and risk adjustment preferred. * Working experience with SAS and equivalent analytical tools preferred. * Working experience with Teradata/Hadoop preferred. * SQL required. * Excel required. * Access preferred. * Equivalent data management and analysis tools required. * Understanding of multiple data sources and formats required. * Excellent knowledge and understanding of data warehouse structures, data flows and standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required. * Excellent leadership, problem solving, organizational, planning, presentation and interpersonal skills. * Advanced degree in business, science, or health research is preferred. * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization including executives. * This job spends time thinking about programming and is much more focused on designing solutions as compared to the Bus Info Developer Consultant Sr. * This job functions as an independent operator and feels comfortable talking to the Executive Leadership team (ELT).*/Anthem, Inc. is ranked as one of America?s Most Admired Companies among health insurers by Fortune magazine and is a 2016 DiversityInc magazine Top 50 Company for Diversity.
