Working Manager of Non:Fuel Convenience Store and Restaurant

Job Summary:
Working Manager is responsible for day to day Convenience Store/Restaurant operations; including scheduling, training, and supervising employees. The manager heads all administrative tasks associated with both; ranging from customer service to store management. The store manager is responsible for controllable expenses, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages. The manager will be a part of the floor schedule.
List of Tasks:
Be a part of the floor schedule in, either or both, the Convenience Store and Restaurant.
Assist in the recruiting and training of positive individuals who will ensure excellent customer service.
Supervise and communicate with all store employees in a positive and productive manner.
Have the knowledge and physical ability to perform all duties in the Convenience Store and Restaurant.
Set all schedules, respond to requests for time off, and fill in where needed.
Promote and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Follow and enforce all company policies and established procedures.
Review inventory levels and order as needed within current standards.
Ability to create menu specials and adjust menu items seasonally and as needed.
Ensure the safeguard and maintenance of Convenience store and Restaurant areas.
Ensure the enforcement of all health, safety, and security rules.
Demonstrate the ability to be flexible and excel in problem solving.
Understand that this is 7 day a week operation where the stores have varying hours so the position may require a varying schedule.
Promote business locally through proven methods of networking and advertising.
