Our company is currently seeking x200B;a Full:charge Bookkeeper to join our team This is a part:time, full:charge bookkeeper/office manager position for a small commercial real estate firm located in SW Lynnwood, WA. Hours are approximately 20:25 hours a week during regular business hours.
* Detail:oriented, and organized, with effective written and verbal skills
* QuickBooks expert with QB Payroll experience
* Computer literate
* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel
* HR experience
* Must be a team player with a can:do attitude
* Passion for integrity and reliability
This is an employee situation, not a 1099 arrangement.
: Oversee and administer the Internal Controls Protocol (ICP) as specified by the CPA, where this job description may differ with the ICP, the ICP will prevail.
: This position reports directly to the owner and the Property Manager (PM).
: Maintain accurate financial and accounting records for multiple clients in a transparent, auditable system
: Cash management (request account transfers, deposits, check stock, deposit slip stock, etc.)
: In compliance with the ICP initiate and verify the protocol regarding all bank account management (safe deposit box, credit cards, banking contact, reconciliations)
: Maintain security and supervision of all financial documents, destroy sensitive documents when necessary
: Bill and track commission and project management income under the direction of the PM
: Review and process accounts payable, and accounts receivable
: Monitor and collect receivables, notify PM regarding all past due payments or payment issues
: Create and distribute monthly tenant statements and bill tenant reimbursable expenses, incorporate rental rate increases
: Post all rental income to appropriate tenant ledgers, deposit into appropriate bank accounts
: Monitor collection and payment of all property taxes
: Prepare and file all required local, state, and federal tax forms/reports
: Prepare invoices for property management fees for each management contract
: Prepare monthly financial statements for PM reports
: Prepare distribution checks for owners under PMs direction
: Maintain all financial digital and paper files and maintain an off:site back:up of the financial computer hard drive
: When requested, annually reconcile reimbursable tenant expenses with tenant NNN income, bill or credit tenants accordingly
: When requested, create NNN budgets for properties in coordination with PM
: Monitor NNN budgets : income vs expenses, monthly, quarterly, or as required
: Monitor all cash flow models
: Prepare and provide all year:end financial records for CPA
: Communicate with CPA as needed
: Perform credit checks for potential tenants
: Prepare annual financial reports as needed
: Process payroll, pay all related taxes, etc.
: Maintain employee payroll files (time sheets, payroll related issues)
: Review and monitor all debt and mortgages, informing PM of upcoming mortgage maturity 180 days before maturity date
: Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time and approved by the owner
: Maintain all client business license renewals
