Sr Segment Marketing Manager
Description
The Senior Segment Marketing Manager is an integral member of the marketing team focused on the marketing, new business development and client service needs of major business practices and strategic focus areas within BNY Mellon Wealth Management ('WM'). These may include such business areas as private banking, brokerage services, insurance services, and major operational and business-mandated programs and initiatives. In this role, the Senior Segment Marketing Manager provides strategic and analytical support in identifying and prioritizing customer and product development opportunities, develops successful selling strategies, builds and manages communications programs, and -- in coordination with other BNY Mellon WM marketing managers, sales management, corporate resources, and executive management -- develops and executes plans to deliver consistently effective marketing programs. Requires a minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership roles in marketing, communications and/or marketing strategy, at least half of this time in financial services and banking businesses. Exceptional strategic communication and writing skills a requirement, as well as excellent independent project management skills. Ability to think with an analytical mindset and integrate market research results in business planning activities and communications development. Solid business and regulatory knowledge, both in investing/brokerage services and banking. Must be able to independently manage multiple projects and issues effectively. Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills a necessity.
Qualifications
College degree required.
